Still 100% free, the concerts will now take place from midday onwards on the Place d\u2019Encausse, opposite the beautiful buildings of the former thermal baths. And you know what? For the past few months, we\u2019ve been running the village caf\u00e9, Le Pot aux Roses, which offers a weekly programme of events all year round! This caf\u00e9 is becoming the festival\u2019s headquarters: drinks, food and off-programme concerts \u2013 we\u2019ll see you there! <\/p>\n
Thursday 20 August: 9.00 pm \u2013 Bo and the Sox: singer Bo and guitarist Smoky Dave lead the band Bo and the Sox with their old-school Chicago blues. 10.00 pm \u2013 F\u00e9lix Robin + Mathieu Haage (quintet), a dream line-up: F\u00e9lix Robin on vibraphone and Mathieu Haage on trumpet \u2013 alchemists of beauty and balance. <\/p>\n
Friday 21 August: 9.00 pm – Mathis Polack (saxophone) and Markus Thiel (accordion): they craft a fascinating soundscape, drawing inspiration from Brazilian forr\u00f3, biguine, the French musette waltz and, of course, jazz. 10.00 pm – Ma\u00eft\u00e9 Diaz + Thomas Kretzschmar + Robin Escoud\u00e9 (quintet): A tribute to Django Reinhardt, featuring gypsy jazz led by the great Thomas Kretzschmar on violin. He\u2019ll be joined by Robin Escoud\u00e9 on guitar and Ma\u00eft\u00e9 Diaz on vocals. <\/p>\n
Saturday 22 August: 9.00 pm \u2013 Exploronix (trio): Ethno-groove jazz; Gert Kilian, with his magical balafon, and his musicians take us on a dizzying journey across continents. 10.00 pm \u2013 Trio Raybrown: the trio of the moment, featuring Manu Forster on double bass, Thibaud Dufoy on piano and Jordi L\u00e9og\u00e9 on drums: a blend of jazz, joy, energy and finesse. <\/p>\n
Sunday 23 August: 5.00 pm \u2013 Emmanuel Pi Djob, accompanied by 80 backing singers and a frenetic rhythm section, will have you dancing to the sounds of an Afro-Soul repertoire. <\/p>\n
