Well, imagine France, the Pyrenees, halfway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean, the gateway to our beautiful Pyrenees, here is Saint-Gaudens, capital of Comminges.<br\/>A lovely balcony overlooking this mountain range that we never tire of observing! Lovers of history and architecture will not be mistaken: the<a href=\"https:\/\/destination-commingespyrenees.com\/collegiale\/\">church, a collegiate church<\/a> dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Gaudens, is a true masterpiece of Romanesque art, built between the 11th and 12th centuries. One day, his soldiers came across a thirteen-year-old shepherd named Gaudens. Despite insistence and threats, the boy refused to renounce his Christian faith. One of the soldiers seized him and cut off his head. And then the miracle happened: young Gaudens stood up, took his head in his hands and headed for Mas Saint-Pierre. He didn&#8217;t stop until he reached the town, where the church doors opened of their own accord and closed behind him. The horsemen pursuing him were unable to enter.
