17 (VERT) – LA CABANE DE L’ESCALETTE

Steps

Step 1

Take the forest track leaving from the left of the Cabane du Col de Menté (1,346 m). The track climbs steadily without being difficult and remains very pleasant.

Step 2

At the edge of the forest, the track levels out and the hut (1,598 m) is just a few dozen metres away. From east to west and south, all the mountains are right in front of you.

Step 3

Return via the same route.
