2.00 pm: Roman calligraphy workshop led by the artist Corentin Noyer.

4.00 pm: Talk: ‘Saint-Bertrand: a canonry town in Comminges’

Sunday 20 September

11.30 am and 3 pm: Guided tours with performances

Saturday workshop: Learn the basics of calligraphy and Roman capital letters using epigraphic examples engraved on stone artefacts held in the museum’s collection.

For adults and teenagers aged 13 and over only; booking required; duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Saturday lecture: In this lecture, Alexandra Guéguen and Paul Maturi, researchers at the Occitanie Region’s Heritage Knowledge Department, will present the key issues and methods of their study.

They will discuss their fieldwork and their discoveries in the archives, which are shedding light on new aspects of the city’s architectural history.

Registration recommended, 1 hour.

Sunday performances: A sparkling show presented as part of the ‘Héroïque’ exhibition.

It all begins like a guided tour and ends like a performance… Improvisation, movement, storytelling: it all depends on the interaction, the moment and the artworks. The performance will explore heritage, heroes, and no doubt many other heroic surprises.

A unique experience at the crossroads of the arts, to be enjoyed with the whole family.
