Opening of the Church of Saint-Pé-d’Arès, situated in a historic neighbourhood of the commune of Fabas (Haute-Garonne). It is a 12th-century Romanesque church, restored in the 17th and 18th centuries.

The old church was linked to the Cistercian Abbey of Lumière-Dieu, in Comminges, which was destroyed during the Revolution. It is a small rural church built in the 17th century on Romanesque foundations, with its doorway sheltered by a porch at the foot of the bell wall, which itself has two openings housing the bells. Inside, the single nave is covered by a wooden coffered ceiling (1696) decorated with floral motifs. The chancel features panelling (1714–1717) designed to accommodate paintings decorating the altar. The interior décor and furnishings date from the first half of the 18th century.
