About
Against a backdrop of environmental, political and energy tensions, the question arises of a shift in models of production, consumption and energy sovereignty.
This is an opportunity for us to tackle these issues together and come up with local solutions tailored to our area and its residents.
So, to those of you who live in Aurignac or the surrounding area, to those of you interested in renewable energy and issues surrounding energy production and consumption, to those of you who would like to be part of a local community-led energy production project, or who are simply curious to find out more.
To all of you, then, we invite you on Wednesday 28 October 2026 to the Espace Saint Michel in Aurignac from 6.00 pm for a friendly evening dedicated to this topic.
On the programme:
6.00 pm: Public meeting to outline an emerging community-led renewable energy project in Aurignac and hear about the experience of an existing co-operative.
8.00 pm: A chance to socialise and enjoy some light refreshments to recharge your batteries.
9.00 pm: Screening of the documentary “How did Cuba survive without oil in 1990?”.
We are delighted to be able to open this space for discussion and exchange, and thus mark the start of an energetic collective adventure in the Aurignac region.
