About

The Gaec des 2 Coteaux, located in the charming village of Saint-Frajou, raises organically-farmed black Gascon pigs and Tarascon ewes.

Benoit and Robin have 2 organic production units on the farm:

Organic lamb: from a flock of Tarasconnaise ewes that summer in the Pyrenees, the lambs are reared on the farm. Packages are (at least) a ½ lamb, i.e. 8 to 12kg, and include leg, shoulder, ribs and navarins, vacuum-packed and ready to eat. On order at €15.50/kg. Collection from the farm by appointment or delivery depending on quantity.

Organic black pigs: the pigs are of Gascon black stock, a hardy local breed suited to free-range rearing. Packages of 5 or 8kg are made up of loin and loin chop, fresh sausage (500g pack), coustellous, loin, rouelle (only for 8kg packages), vacuum-packed and ready to eat. To order at €16.50/kg. Pick-up at the farm by appointment or delivery depending on quantity. We also produce pâté, black pudding and cured meats (sausages, coppa, etc.) from our pig farms.

New - The Tastes & Flavors Guide

While eating well without breaking the bank is a major concern for our fellow citizens, short supply chains are thriving in Comminges. Now more than ever, there has been a growing need for a guide that lists producers, restaurateurs, and food professionals who sell their creations directly to consumers and work with local products in an ethical manner.

From Farm to Table with Complete Transparency: The Charter

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
