The Pays de l'Ours – Adet association is a major player in the return of the bear to the Pyrenees. We were behind the releases that prevented the bear from becoming extinct in France: "We don't let go of anything, except bears!

From family outings to full-day hikes, there's sure to be a "Bear" outing to suit you!

— Family WALK "La vallée des Ours" in Arbas – free.

Come and discover the brown bear as a family. This easy 1? hour walk is suitable for children aged 3 and over.

— FAMILY HALF-DAY WALK "Discovering the bear" in Arbas and Luchon.

This 2? hour discovery walk is suitable for children aged 6 and over. You'll learn all about the lord of the Pyrenees, his habitat and his return to the massif.

— HIKING: "In the footsteps of the bear" mountain hike at Melles

Come and discover the valley where the first bears were released in the Pyrenees near Melles and take part in the search for signs of their presence: tracks, hair, photos, videos, etc. on the only tracking route open to the public.

Accessible to children aged 12 and over.
