Events and commemorative ceremonies honouring the Campels Maquis and the Allied Jedburh ‘Bugatti’ mission

9.30 am, running continuously until 1.30 pm: a ‘living history’ workshop organised by the Les Oies sauvages association,

10.00 am: patriotic ceremony attended by civil and military authorities,

12.00 Demonstration parachute drop by the “Terrain Jean” airborne unit (subject to confirmation),

12.30 Reception on site,

2.30 pm in the village hall: talk by Jean-Louis Perquin on ‘The Jedburgh Plan’,

3.15 pm: talk by Patrice Castel on ‘Summer 1944: the Campels Maquis and the Allied Jedburgh “Bugatti” mission in the Pyrenees’.

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
