Formed in 2026, the AFO Trio draws on a musical heritage shaped by some of jazz’s greatest names, from Wes MONTGOMERY – a pioneer of modern jazz guitar – to the great bassist Marcus MILLER, who proudly identifies as a funk musician.

Drawing on these strong influences, AFO Trio has developed an original style featuring original compositions characterised by open harmonies that appeal to a wide audience. This original repertoire has been enriched with pieces rearranged in the jazz-Latino style, as well as covers of rock bands and singers (AC/DC, Bashung, Eurythmics, The Clash, etc.). The result is a captivating concert where styles and sounds intertwine, with everyone recognising familiar tones.

The AFO Trio comprises excellent musicians with extensive stage experience. Guitarist Thierry FABRE and drummer Pierre ALBERO, both of whom teach at music schools in our region (notably in St Laurent de Neste, Loures Barrousse and Luchon). They are joined in this trio by Gérard OLE, singer and bassist.
