The film follows an ageing shepherd and a teenager with a passion for nature and animals. Both are fascinated by these bears and spend days and stormy nights deep in the mountains waiting for them, watching them, and catching them by surprise…

In the French Pyrenees, the reintroduction of bears into a pastoral community is reigniting tensions within a mountain village. Some are in favour of conservation, whilst others are finding their sheep killed.

To our great delight, the screening will take place in the presence of director Max Keegan and with the participation of the Thermes bookshop.
