About
La Pistouflerie is putting on a slam poetry performance
Aurore Chevalier doesn’t hold back. Her poetry is a head-to-head encounter: in it, she celebrates women, lesbian desire and intimacy with raw candour, elevated by a rare elegance. But make no mistake: whilst the text is powerful, the artist herself wields self-deprecation with infectious joy.
On stage, Aurore casts a lucid and humorous gaze upon herself, defusing the gravity of the subject to better touch the heart. A show that makes you laugh as much as it moves you, striking a balance between raw honesty and disarming tenderness.
An organic, unfiltered and magnetic slam performance. A vital voice that transforms the raw into the sacred.
La Pistouflerie offers quality local drinks and produce (charcuterie and cheese platters, and vegetarian dishes) in a warm atmosphere that has earned them the ‘Comme à la maison’ label from the Haute-Garonne department.
