The repertoire, drawn mainly from Spain and Latin America, ranges from folk songs to traditional tunes. The smiles of beautiful Cuban women, the Andalusian rumba, Mexican legends… the poetry of the streets… And then a little of ‘our own’ stories, because they are the same everywhere… they always tell of the joys, the sorrows and the great adventures of our lives, with the wind above our heads providing its music, and the earth beneath our feet lending its colour. A travel journal that grows over time. It is this journey ‘around the world’ that we invite you to share.
As usual, anyone who’d like to is welcome to come and have a picnic on the chapel esplanade whilst waiting for the concert to begin; let’s meet for drinks at around 6.45 pm.
