About
La Pistouflerie presents an instrumental duo, featuring Eastern music and moments of stillness.
UTTA is the duo formed by Xavier Uters and David Taieb.
Following a debut album in which traditional Iranian instruments, electric bass and electronic textures blended in a dialogue between tradition and modernity, the duo has now opted for a more minimalist approach.
By setting aside electronic equipment, Xavier and David are refocusing their exploration on instrumental performance, listening and interaction. Their music opens up to greater nuance, breathing space and openness, where silence itself becomes a sound material.
Straddling heritage and creativity, UTTA crafts a sensitive, suspended world where every sound is given time to resonate.
La Pistouflerie offers high-quality local drinks and produce (charcuterie and cheese platters, and vegetarian dishes) in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that has earned them the ‘Comme à la maison’ label from the Haute-Garonne department.
