L'Isle-en-Dodon is celebrating! Four days of entertainment! As L'Isle-en-Dodon is twinned with the town of Godega di Sant'Urbano, Italy takes centre stage this year with a programme organised by the twinning committee!
Funfair, fireworks, soapbox race, DJ, band, USL duck breasts, majorettes – and even pétanque! L
Bookings are required for Lefil meals and the USL duck breasts. Please bring your own cutlery!!!

FRIDAY 11 SEPTEMBER
5.00 pm: FUNFAIR
7.00 pm: Presentation of the keys to the town by the Mayor to the LEFIL association, followed by drinks and a concert with the band Moko
8.00 pm: Dinner organised by the LEFIL association: grilled sausages or merguez / chips / ice cream: €10

9.30 pm: TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION: setting off from the porch of the town hall annexe (free)
11.00 pm: DJ THE white night
SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER

8.00 pm: Dinner featuring USL’s MAGRETS

SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER
11.00 am: ‘Soapbox race’ trials (Route de Saint-Frajou)
12.00 pm: Wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial followed by a drinks reception hosted by the local council
12.30 pm: Lunch organised by the Caisses en Save’On (CESO) association (Roast chicken or country ham sandwich / bowl of mixed salad with roast chicken or country ham. Dessert: crêpes.

2.00 pm – 5.00 pm: soapbox race
4.00 pm: parade by the Montesquieu-Volvestre majorettes in the town centre
5.30 pm: parade with musical accompaniment to mark the return of the soapboxes to town. Prize-giving ceremony for the winners
9.30 pm: bal musette with David Firmin
MONDAY 14 SEPTEMBER
The Pré-Commun open-air dance
(organised by CESO and the MJC)
12 noon – 4 pm: refreshment stand
12.00 pm: lunch with musical entertainment
Menu: Gascon salad, beef stew with potatoes or pasta, panna cotta or crêpes (€18). Please bring your own cutlery!
