A walking and hiking tour in the Central Pyrenees, with overnight stays in mountain huts.

The Pyrénées Air Tour consists of three days of walking and paragliding without assistance, around the central part of the Pyrenees. During the race, pilots are only permitted to walk whilst carrying their equipment or to fly. Numerous optional checkpoints (lakes, peaks, other mountain huts, etc.) of varying values allow pilots to earn extra points. Each evening, competitors must reach one of the mountain huts to have dinner and spend the night there. The pilots, gathered together in this way, will use the evenings to share their experiences and discuss possible strategies for the following day. They must return to the finish line by late Saturday afternoon at the latest.
