The RA.CA.PYR, Rassemblement des Cavaliers et Attelages Pyrénéens will take place from 12 to 13 September 2026 in the Haute-Garonne (31).
Since its creation in 2017, our event has aimed to bring together, every year, ALWAYS on the second weekend in September, riders, drivers, cyclists, walkers and canine-trekkers who love the Pyrenees, for a festive evening in a different part of our beautiful mountains.
This 10th edition will take you on a walk around the Mont-Saint-Michel of the Haute-Garonne, the Cathedral of SAINT-BERTRAND-DE-COMMINGES. Each participant organises their own itinerary, for a day, a weekend or a week, walking at their own pace. There's just one requirement: to arrive at our temporary bivouac site on Saturday late afternoon to share this unique moment, where the values of sharing, simplicity, the pleasure of hiking and creating your own path resonate in every discussion.
This year, the RA.CA.PYR will be setting up camp at the Es Pibous campsite in Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges (31510). Our team will be waiting to help you set up in a bungalow or tent/camping-car/van, as you wish. Your horses will be accommodated on site. Then it's time for our welcome drink with a little surprise and a convivial dinner at the restaurant "Chez Simone". Everyone's adventures will leave you with incredible memories.
The RA.CA.PYR does not rhyme with Rally, nor with over-consumption. It's about autonomy, each at their own level, each with their own dreams. The organising association: the Association des Randonneurs Cavaliers du Savès (ARCS RIEUMES) will be on hand to help you organise your weekend, and if you wish you can even accompany its members from the morning of Saturday 12, returning the next day if you wish. This unique experience will help you discover that hiking leads to the essential, and it's with stars in your eyes that you'll become a Racapyrien.
