Victor, a brilliant Parisian lawyer, wakes up one day to receive two pieces of bad news in quick succession: his wife is leaving him and his boss has sacked him. Completely devastated, he seeks comfort from his friends and family. The problem is that everyone is far too caught up in their own problems to sympathise with Victor’s troubles. Coline Serreau presents a stage adaptation of her cult film starring Vincent Lindon, Patrick Timsit, Zabou Breitman and Maria Pacôme, for which she won the César Award for Best Screenplay in 1993.
