By candlelight, the two of them invite you on a journey to the realm of Shakespearean dreams, drawing on songs and texts to enchant us for one magical evening.
‘We are the stuff that dreams are made of’… Shakespeare lets us hear an infinite melody: Marie Oppert, a member of the Comédie-Française, explores Shakespeare’s texts and their interpretation by composers ranging from Purcell to Bernstein via Poulenc, accompanied by pianist and accordionist Benoît Urbain.
