Les Rencontres du film d’art is the brainchild of the team at Le Régent cinema in Saint-Gaudens.

“Independent operators for over twenty years, we wanted to create an original cultural event in Comminges. Our discovery of art films was first and foremost a chance encounter with a genre we knew nothing about. We wanted to share our enthusiasm with the audience at Le Régent and discover with them this rich and rare film genre. That’s how the RFA 0 edition was born.

Since then, the adventure has continued with the same objectives: Discover the arts and artists through cinema, bring art films back to the cinema and offer a quality cultural event in a rural setting.

For over 10 years, the adventure has continued with the same objectives: to discover the arts and artists through cinema, to bring art films back into the cinema and to offer a quality cultural event in a rural setting.

23 films screened over 4 days in 4 screening rooms from 10am to 10pm, 4 unique events, a colorful exhibition, a bistro area and a bookshop.
2 children’s screenings on Saturday at 10am and 11:15am and on Sunday at 10am and 11:15am.
