Just 7km from Saint-Gaudens, this large detached house is the perfect setting for a peaceful break in a village in the heart of the Comminge countryside. Here, Claire and Sébastien have transformed the house in which Sébastien's grandparents lived into a welcoming, comfortable and cosy place, with a trendy decor. There's a large enclosed garden where you can make the most of the outdoor space in fine weather (swings, football cages), and the old barn adjoining the house has been converted into a covered terrace with a large dining table and relaxing lounge (a summer kitchen is in the pipeline). All shops and services are in Saint-Gaudens, 7km away, but the village has a baker and hosts a small market on Saturdays. For leisure activities, there are numerous hiking trails in the area and fishing is possible in the stream 1.5km away. Horse-riding centre 5km away, lake with swimming facilities and golf course 17km away, remarkable site of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges 25km away.
