1 – LE MONT NE

Steps

Step 1

The trail starts just before the Port de Balès (1,755 m), where you can leave your car. The route is flat. You will pass the Mont Né refuge and arrive at the Port de Pierrefitte (1,855 m). Take note of the cromlechs here.

Step 2

Here, the path branches off to your right. The path immediately climbs steeply but is not difficult. Set your own pace to reach the summit, where the view will reward you for your efforts.

Step 3

The summit of Mont Né rises to 2,147 metres.

Step 4

The return journey is via the same route.
