55 – LA TOUR DE CASTEL BLANCAT

Steps

Step 1

The start is at the entrance to the village of Cazarilh, just before the church. Go through the gate and close it behind you. You will quickly enter the forest. The path is very pleasant, especially when it is hot.

Step 2

Leave the fork on the left leading down to Trebons (980m) and continue on the path in front of you.

Step 3

Halfway along, a short detour to the left takes you to the tower of Castel-Blancat (1,000m – whitewashed castle in Occitan).

Step 4

Continue along the path to the village of Saccourvielle, turn left and you will see the yellow and red GRPays Oueil-Larboust signposts on your right.

Step 5

Return via the same route.
