Steps

Step 1
The start is just before the Juzet-de-Luchon waterfall. Cross the small bridge on the right.
Step 2
The slope is a little steep from the outset and the path a little slippery. The higher you go, the easier the path becomes. Leave the path leading off to the right (800m) and continue straight ahead. In just a few minutes you'll reach the Hayroles barns, a haven of peace with a magnificent view over the Luchon valley and its high mountains.
Step 3
Continue your hike along the path entering the forest. This becomes wider and more pleasant. You will come to a small footbridge (910 m), which you should cross and continue along by turning left. Follow this path to the village of Sode.
Step 4
After the sheepfold, cross the road and walk 50m downhill. The GR10 is on your right (red and white markings).
Step 5
At Juzet-de-Luchon, turn left into the village centre, the starting point for your walk.

New - The Tastes & Flavors Guide

While eating well without breaking the bank is a major concern for our fellow citizens, short supply chains are thriving in Comminges. Now more than ever, there has been a growing need for a guide that lists producers, restaurateurs, and food professionals who sell their creations directly to consumers and work with local products in an ethical manner.

From Farm to Table with Complete Transparency: The Charter

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
