68 – LES HAUTS DE LUCHON

Steps

Step 1

On leaving the village of Antignac from Luchon, turn left towards the Chemin des Cavaliers. At the junction with a forest track, go straight ahead to reach the road, where you turn right.

Step 2

Cross the River Pique, then take the path on the left that runs under the main road. Then turn right towards Hounex (route de Gouaux de Luchon). At the crossroads, go left up the steepest track.

Step 3

When you reach the first houses, go straight on until you reach the main road. Turn right, then quickly left onto an uphill path. After the bend, turn left again.

Step 4

A little further on, a small path on the left takes you off the track. Follow this footpath as far as Artigue, where you turn right to pass under the village and begin the descent.

Step 5

At the junction, turn right towards Salles.

Step 6

When you reach the first houses on the road, turn right and follow the signs for Antignac. You will pass under the road again to reach your starting point.
