CYCL – MONTÉE D’ARTIGUE DEPUIS JUZET-DE-LUCHON

Steps

Step 1

The climb begins at the junction with the D46, just on the outskirts of Juzet-de-Luchon. The tone is set straight away: the road rises steeply through the trees.

Step 2

Up to the village of Sode, you’ll encounter a series of hairpin bends. This is the most challenging section, with the gradient remaining consistently above 9.5 per cent.

Step 3

After Sode, the gradient eases very slightly but remains at around 8 to 9 per cent.

Step 4

As you leave the forest, the final kilometre features a slightly gentler gradient (around 8 per cent) all the way to Artigue. Before heading back down, take a moment to enjoy the exceptional view over the Luchon valley and the surrounding peaks.
