Steps

Step 1
From the Luchon station car park, cross the road to the impasse de la Liberté.
Step 2
Steep at first, path no. 53 then levels out slightly and you climb up to the top, with a beautiful view of Luchon.
Step 3
You then reach a crossroads of paths (alt: 870m): the path on the left leads to a ferruginous spring (5mn, nice viewpoint with a picnic table), keep going straight ahead, in the direction of Cazarilh.
Step 4
Follow the path as it rises up to the village.
Step 5
You arrive at the village of Cazarilh. The sculpture "Le randonneur" by Françoise Lasvènes invites you to take a contemplative break.
Step 6
Go through the village of Cazarilh and just before the church, path no. 55 continues past the gate. Remember to close the gate after you have passed through.
Step 7
You soon enter the forest. The path is very pleasant, especially in hot weather.
Step 8
Turn left at the junction leading down to Trébons (980m), and continue on the track in front of you.
Step 9
Halfway along the route, a short diversions to the left will take you to the Castel-Blancat tower (1000m – whitewashed castle in Occitan).
Step 10
After a well-earned break, you return to Cazarilh along the same route. Cross the village to the "Randonneur" sculpture and begin the descent.
Step 11
The return journey takes the same route.

New - The Tastes & Flavors Guide

While eating well without breaking the bank is a major concern for our fellow citizens, short supply chains are thriving in Comminges. Now more than ever, there has been a growing need for a guide that lists producers, restaurateurs, and food professionals who sell their creations directly to consumers and work with local products in an ethical manner.

From Farm to Table with Complete Transparency: The Charter

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
