Steps

Step 1

Cross the village of Mayrègne (1,050 m) and take the path that climbs very gradually through the woods.

Step 2

At the edge of the forest, you will reach an open summer pasture with an unattended hut and, as a bonus, your first unobstructed view of the valley.

Step 3

The trail then climbs more steeply towards the ridge. Once on the ridge, follow it until you reach the summit of Antenac (1,992 metres). The view is panoramic over the Oueil valley and the peaks of the Luchonnais.

Step 4

Follow the ridge via Cap de Bassias and Cap de la Coume.

Step 5

The trail then descends gently through the summer pastures and gradually enters the forest. Follow the trail to the village of Saint-Paul-d'Oueil.

Step 6

Cross the river at the bottom of the village and follow the path that climbs gently back up to Mayrègne. –
