The Refuge du Maupas, perched at 2450m in the Vallée du Lys (Castillon-de-Larboust), has a restaurant service available on reservation during the guarding period.

The refuge also offers hot drinks and simple meals, and deserves its culinary reputation: "an unforgettable, hearty meal … delicious pot-au-feu, really excellent bread", according to one testimonial.

Exceptional setting: breathtaking views of the Crabioules cirque, the lakes (Bleu, Vert, Charles, etc.), the Maupas peak and Pperdiguère.
