About

The first castle was built on an artificial motte, probably in the 11th century

Summer Sundays: medieval entertainment: juggling, storytelling, guided tours in period costume

Contested during the Hundred Years’ War, it was the subject of a siege led in 1373 by the Duke of Anjou, brother of King Charles V, and was subsequently granted to Gaston Febus, who incorporated it into his domain of Nébouzan.
