Iris Delvalle, a screen-printer, and Chloé Blanc, a paper-maker, are relocating their workshops so that you can discover them as you follow the flow of the water. Water, a precious resource in our mountains, lies at the heart of this artistic project. An indispensable yet often invisible element, it nevertheless nourishes the techniques, materials and craftsmanship of both artisans.

Through this installation, they invite the public to trace the course of their creative practices back to the source of their inspiration. This is no traditional exhibition. Visitors are invited to go behind the scenes of the creative process, to explore the depths of the workshop – where ideas are born, and where trials, failures, experiments and everyday gestures accumulate.

From the most unmentionable tasks to small tests carried out in the depths of the workshop, Iris Delvalle and Chloé Blanc candidly reveal the stages leading up to the emergence of the finished object. This immersion is intended, above all, to be a sensory and participatory experience. The two designers invite everyone to handle, observe, experiment and discuss their creative practices. There’s just one rule: please don’t keep your hands in your pockets.

By relocating their workshops, Iris and Chloé offer a rare opportunity to discover craftsmanship in a different light: not just through the finished works, but by sharing in the process of creation, the materials, the techniques and the stories that shape them. This installation invites us to look anew at something which, like water, is essential yet often remains invisible.
