Trail des Auri'gines

About

Young and old alike are invited to this day of sporting fun, a friendly and accessible event designed for the whole family, for this trail run organised by the Aurignacourt association.

For the trail runs, you must start the race wearing a head torch (that works!).

There will be no food supplies on the course, but water stations will be available.

We can’t wait to see you smiling again over a beer and the meal that will be provided after your race!

Registration closes on 9 October 2026

Schedule

8.30 am: Market in Aurignac, featuring local produce and food options;

10.00 am: Start of the day – meet at the ‘La Cafetière’ community space to collect your race numbers;

2.00 pm: Walkers set off on the 9 km trail route with 400 m elevation gain (un timed).

2.14 pm: We’ll look after your children aged 6 to 15 with suitable obstacle courses. You can register on the day until 1.00 pm, but it’s best to do so online via the following link: https://chrono-start.com/Inscription/Course/genforminscription.

This will help us give your little ones (whether they have blonde, brown, red or any other colour hair…) the best possible welcome;

4.30 pm: Start of the 27 km race with around 1,200 metres of elevation gain – exactly 3 hours and 3 minutes before sunset at the Donjon, your finish line at the top of a steep climb that’ll really make your legs ache. The first runners should arrive in the beautiful light of the setting sun, but a large part of the field will need to switch on their headlamps. This is the most demanding route, taking in numerous viewpoints over the Pyrenees mountain range as well as several passages past historic monuments. The route is open to junior and senior categories.

5.17 pm: Start of the 17km and 17km pairs races, covering 750m of elevation gain, on a route featuring a stunning viewpoint over the Pyrenees mountain range as well as a brand-new path opened especially for the occasion in the commune of Montoulieu Saint Bernard. This race is open to juniors and above.

6.18 pm: The 9km race (400mD+) sets off for a lively, wooded and rejuvenating run. If you’re over 16, don’t hesitate – this race is open to cadets and above.

7.04 pm: The sun is setting, the first runners have arrived, dinner is ready, the beer is flowing, and there’s a lively musical atmosphere at the finish line at the Donjon d’Aurignac.
