About

The GAEC des Hounts was founded in 1988 in Escanecrabe, on the south-facing slopes facing the majestic Pyrenees.

Production: raw milk cow's and goat's cheeses

It's in this Comminge village, at the foot of the Pyrenees, that Matthieu, Christophe and Vincent raise their herd of over 700 SAAEEN goats. The three partners grow crops to feed the goats, produce milk, process it into cheese and sell it directly.

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.
