After three years of residency, participatory workshops and events held in Square Azémar, Jeanne Tzaut and the Collectif Chignole invite you to a big end-of-residency party!

Deeply attached to its city, the Chapelle Saint-Jacques Centre for Contemporary Art wishes to play a part in re-enchanting it through an artistic presence that reminds us that the city is not merely a functional or social entity, but also a place where beauty and wonder are accessible to as many people as possible. It is with this desire to make public space a place for encounter and creation that the contemporary art centre invited Jeanne Tzaut and the Chignole collective to undertake a three-year residency centred on the public stage, performance and representation in Square Azémar. This residency gave rise to numerous opportunities to meet musicians, dancers, singers, DJs, poets and entertainers of all kinds, circus artists, performers, craftspeople, cooks, as well as with the residents and regular visitors to Azémar Square, in order to design and create a play area(x).
