2026 has been designated the ‘International Year of Transhumance and Pastoral Herders’. To mark the occasion, the Archives branch is offering a programme celebrating shepherds and their livestock, transhumance, pasture management, and the traditions and expertise of our region!

As part of the activities organised around transhumance and pastoralism, discover the technique of soap-felting wool, which transforms carded raw wool into an object, fabric, decoration, piece of jewellery, etc. All materials are provided for this workshop and everyone will be able to take their creation home with them.

This is a pair activity. Every child taking part must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered.
