2026 has been designated the ‘International Year of Transhumance and Pastoralists’. To mark the occasion, the Archives branch is offering a programme celebrating shepherds and their livestock, transhumance, pasture management, and the traditions and expertise of our region!

• ‘My Pom-Pom Sheep’ workshop:

=> for toddlers: aged 3–5

Sheep to colour in and draw.

=> for younger children: aged 5–7

A bit of cotton and a few balls of wool to personalise your sheep.

=> For older children: 8–12 years

Make your own sheep out of wool pom-poms.

• Soft, fluffy books and games

Adventures featuring shepherds and flocks to enjoy as a family.
