Boulonnais Days

Take part in Boulogne-sur-Gesse’s traditional agricultural fair!

Every 3 years, come and discover livestock farming, farmers’ markets, bandas and many other agricultural events.

An event not to be missed

The Journées du Boulonnais, or how Boulogne-sur-Gesse transforms itself into a giant agricultural showcase… The public can admire several hundred cattle on show or in competition, thanks to the participation of the Charolaise, Limousine, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Gasconne and Bazadaise breed syndicates. The show is rounded out by calves, dairy cows, horses, sheep and goats, poultry and palmipeds. An exhibition of farm equipment, both old and new, highlights the incredible evolution of machinery in both technical and technological terms. The organization of the site into thematic clusters enables visitors to discover the different types of agricultural production.

For two days, the Journées du Boulonnais also offer a superb showcase for the local economy: shops are open, agricultural and car dealerships are present.
Not forgetting the forum des associations, an important network of associations eager to promote themselves and recruit new members.

Every three years for the past 21 years, this agricultural show has grown and become an integral part of the Haute-Garonne landscape. With over 5,000 visitors in 22, it is a key event in the rural world, thanks to the involvement of volunteers, the commitment of farmers and the support of local and institutional partners.

The giant farm lets you immerse yourself in the day-to-day workings of animal husbandry and agricultural production:

  • Exhibition and demonstration of vintage and modern farm equipment
  • A farmers’ market,
  • Catering areas featuring local produce,
  • Entertainment for all ages,
  • A cheese competition since 2025

New - The Tastes & Flavors Guide

While eating well without breaking the bank is a major concern for our fellow citizens, short supply chains are thriving in Comminges. Now more than ever, there has been a growing need for a guide that lists producers, restaurateurs, and food professionals who sell their creations directly to consumers and work with local products in an ethical manner.

From Farm to Table with Complete Transparency: The Charter

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
