A charming gourmet market

One product, one story!

Head to the Saint-Gaudens Gourmet Food Hall to fill your basket with fresh produce and whip up a seasonal meal!
This limestone building has been a city landmark since it was built in 1843. Step inside to discover its impressive framework topped by five giant Doric columns, giving this indoor market all its charm and friendly atmosphere.
On Sundays, the market comes alive with concerts. It’s the perfect time to take a break, sip a drink, and enjoy some sweet or savory treats!

One product, one story!

As soon as we enter, we soak up this local-flavored atmosphere. The buzz of customers and artisans brings the hall to life. The colorful, well-stocked stalls whet our appetite and tickle our taste buds! Local traditions take center stage: Bigorre black pork, Panettone, traditional bread, Bethmale (cow’s milk cheese), Napoléon (sheep’s milk cheese made in Montréjeau), chocolate sweets

In this unique setting, 56 food artisans offer their products: cheesemonger, butcher, chocolate bar, caterer-wine merchant, fishmonger and artisan baker.

New - The Tastes & Flavors Guide

While eating well without breaking the bank is a major concern for our fellow citizens, short supply chains are thriving in Comminges. Now more than ever, there has been a growing need for a guide that lists producers, restaurateurs, and food professionals who sell their creations directly to consumers and work with local products in an ethical manner.

From Farm to Table with Complete Transparency: The Charter

The Charter of Commitment was developed by and for professionals in partnership with the Comminges-Pyrénées Tourism Office. It highlights producers from all fields and chefs who work according to best practices, promote Comminges products, and share their respective expertise.

The guide “Goûts et Saveurs en Comminges” is not just a directory of businesses. It is much more than that. As you turn the pages, you’ll also find recipes, profiles, and interviews.
