The Oô signal tower, known as the Castet, dates from the 10th and 11th centuries.
The Oô signal tower, known as the Castet, dates from the 10th and 11th centuries. It stands to the north-east of the village. The roof was added in 1862, an anachronism that has contributed to its preservation.
In addition to the ground floor, there are three usable levels.
It once kept watch over the Oô valley and the lower Larboust valley, using fires lit at the top to establish a link with the towers at Gouaux and St-Blancat in the event of danger.
A square-plan tower, the roof of which was certainly altered at a later date. The interior retains traces of floors and chimneys. This tower corresponded to that of Saccour Vieille.
